BRANDON FLYE

+ ABOUT BRANDON

alt text

Brandon Flye brings a unique fusion of scientific training, design experience, and classical painting technique to both his personal artwork and his teaching. He holds a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a postgraduate internship in Medical Illustration at IUPUI in Indianapolis. His early career spanned over fifteen years as a graphic and exhibit designer for major institutions such as the Indianapolis Zoo and the world-renowned Indianapolis Children’s Museum.

In 2009, Brandon began studying oil painting at Zoll Studio, where he trained intensively in classical methods and quickly developed a distinctive artistic voice. He has since earned numerous awards for his work, and his paintings are held in private collections across the Eastern Seaboard.

As an instructor, Brandon teaches with equal parts structure and flexibility. He is the founder and lead instructor for the dedicated flagship program High School Art Studio at Zoll, a rigorous, portfolio-based program that has helped dozens of high school artists gain admission to top art colleges nationwide. His approach with adult students is just as individualized— whether you’re brand new to art or seeking to deepen existing skills, Brandon meets you where you are, offering supportive, professional instruction tailored to your goals.

MAKE UPS

From our years of teaching classes, we have observed that students perform the best and are most successful in a consistent learning environment. For you to get the most out of your experience, we strongly encourage consistent attendance to your regularly scheduled class(es).

  1. All classes are "continuous" (no need to re-enroll). This simply means that you register only once. Once you enroll with a payment of $150, you are entitled to any 4 of Brandon's Adult Classes (excluding Portfolio Prep Classes). You must take all four of these classes within 2 months of the enrollment date (date of payment). If you do not take all 4 classes within 2 months of enrollment, remaining classes are forfeited.

  2. There will be no make-up session if written notification via email is not provided prior to absence.

  3. Absences cannot be credited to the next enrollment period. All 4 classes must be taken within 2 months of enrollment and payment of tuition.

  4. Eligible make-ups are valid while you are enrolled. All unused make-ups expire when you withdraw and are not carried over upon re-enrollment.

  5. Rescheduled/make up classes cannot be replaced. We do not reschedule make up classes.
